Custom rich presence, you can find a youtube tutorial by searching "Discord RPC Maker". It's a PC only thing btw.

Trying out different styles can definitely help to find your own, and learning simple color theory can help with making sure your graphics don't look like butt. Attempting different aesthetics is also a lot of fun.
