Coloring images!! typically used for applying filters (such as saturation, hue, brightness & contrast + others) but you can also use them for gradient maps depending on the program. Overlays can also be included in a PSD ^^ PSD stands for photoshop document but it can be used in other apps!

How do you color ur graphics? i get the textures part but the way u color is so subtle and nice.. idk how to explain it btu i love ur rentries so much!! Please let me know if that’s fine :)

hai the main thing is just not depending super heavily on gradient maps!! i typically use color filters, textures, brightness & contrast, etc etc. it really depends on the comm but i usually try to aim for a specific shade or stick to the original coloring of the aesthetic im using ( so like neopolitan youd want the brown to stand out while preserving the pink ) i do want to forewarn im not a professional at all but this is simply just how i do it
